August means it's scrapbooking month here at Song of My Heart Stampers, and it's time for my annual blog series, 31 Pages in 31 Days!
If you're an old friend of Song of My Heart, you know this month is going to be fun! And if you're a newbie, you're in for a treat. Each day during August I share a single or double-page 12×12 layout for your inspiration. My background in graphic design and layout allows me to share unique tips to help you up your own scrapbooking game as well as seeing new products and trends in action.
And of course… there are giveaways! I have been amassing NEW Holiday mini catalog papers and more for our prizes. We'll also be giving away free Suite Samplers! WOW!!! We're going to have so much FUN this month!
So let's start right now, with our first inspiration layout!
First up is a page celebrating our Spa Day! Natalie and I and my sister in law Megan took my darling mother in law Shirley on a whirlwind day of pampering. We had a fancy brunch out, then went for massages, facials and shampoos and blowouts. Somewhere in there Natalie got her first manicure, too! It was pricey but soooo FUN and we all had a ball.
We even took before and after photos so we could document how fancy we looked at the end of the day! Since we didn't take many photos, I added more journaling cards than I normally would, so I can still tell the story.
