Whew! Crazy day around here, but I still managed to get pages up before midnight, so it counts! Today's 31 Pages in 31 Days scrapbooking inspiration is a Mary Engelbreit-inspired spread made with cards from the What a Year Memories & More card pack.
I just loved the cheerful topiary and buckets motif, and the larger images and smaller florals helped balance out the VERY bold black and white striped background paper. You can't pair "subtle" with that kind of in-your-face drama!
Remember that photos in all these mats will also tone down a page quite a lot. That helps when I feel like I'm headed for pattern overload!
That's it for Day Five… Day Six's pages will probably be a little later in the day as well because my daughter is having all of her wisdom teeth out tomorrow morning. Poor baby! So there will be lots of coddling, Jane Austen movies and chocolate pudding.
Thanks for being excited to see what I've been working on every day! I'd love it if you'd leave a comment and tell me you're playing along or pinning the ideas for another time. We scrapbookers gotta hang together, you know!
