My BFF and assistant Penni Litwiller took pity on me falling behind this month, and scrapped a page for me to share with you for Day 23!
Penni is the only reason I am not ALWAYS behind!! And she worked her magic even while dealing with an ER visit. Yesterday was the anniversary of several accidents and mishaps in their family–and true to form, she ended the day with a child with a broken ankle. What are you gonna do? I remember a string of years in my childhood where my brother broke his arm on Memorial Day weekend just like clockwork!
Penni loves Halloween (and lives in the perfect scary-looking old brick mansion-turned-duplex!) so she relished the excuse to dive into the new papers and stamps in the Holiday 2020 mini catalog. Here's what she used for this page to show case her three kids' costumes this year:

With a day to catch up, I hope to be back on track and finish 31 Pages in 31 Days strong this year. Some years are easier than others, but this one has been a doozie! I'm still so pleased with how much I've gotten done for this challenge. And maybe it's inspired you to set aside a period to just let yourself scrap without guilt.
Maybe you can't do a whole month, or even a whole week, but you could plan a day where you just shut the door to the outside world and let yourself play. It's so good for the soul… and for the stack of pages!
