Hello, scrappers! Welcome back to Day Eleven of 31 Pages in 31 Days! If you are just joining us, every day this month I'll be sharing an inspiration layout made with Stampin' Up papers and products. I love cardmaking, but scrapbooking really has my heart–best hobby EVER!
I've been running 31 Pages in 31 Days for a LOT of years now, so be sure to scroll back through the blog's 31 Pages category to see hundreds of pages all created with the same papercrafting tools I use every day as a professional cardmaker and demonstrator.
Today's pages are all about that farmhouse-style buffalo check plaid! I love that pattern, but as a whole 12×12 sheet, it can be a bit much visually. I broke it up with a small dotted stripe paper, and the back side of the plaid, which was this rich goldenrod yellow brocade.
An extra crazy day here at the ranch… Mike threw his back out helping friends move, and Natalie started complaining about her lower back and lo and behold, she has a terrible abscess on her tailbone. Poor baby! So I'm playing Nurse Nancy these days and mommin' it hard! And we have had a third power outage and tornado watch evening in the past two weeks, to boot. So I apologize in advance if I get off track with the 31 Days blog series!
Life getting in the way of scrapbooking… what else is new, right?
Love the way you show us how to “tone down” busy pages. You make it look so easy. Thank you.
