Hello my friends! Thanks for popping in to see Day Two of 31 Pages in 31 Days, my annual blog series and scrapbooking challenge! Are you up for it? Every August I plan to get everything out and just allow the mess to happen, creating all month long without guilt! It's called immersion scrapbooking, and it's great for the soul and for those in small spaces.
For the first time in my life I actually HAVE space, in my new studio downtown! Embellish has the perfect space to spread out, plan pages, sort photos and get supplies together. If you're local to Watertown, Wisconsin, please plan to join us there for an event soon! www.embellishwatertown.com
Today's inspiration pages are soooo bright and beautiful! Inspired by the colorful costumes my little muffin dressed us in for a four-generations tea party (below!) and the cute Tea Boutique 6×6 paper stack (Stampin' Up).
Yup, this same little miss is off to college in four weeks… my sweet apple-cheeked gramma is now in Heaven, and my parents sold the house where I grew up, and moved here. How fast time flies!

Up for a tip today? I thought you might be!
When your pages are full of small, bright objects, all competing for your eye, make sure your headline is large enough to stand out and your photo mats are BOLD so they frame the most important part. If your paper is busy, double your mat border size, or use your boldest color for the mat. That throws the focus back on the photos, where it should be!
Join us tomorrow for Day Three, another inspiration layout and some more tips as we scrapbook with our Stampin' Up goodies! Leave me a comment if you're a scrapper, too, or tell me if you'll be looking for ideas you can use on cards as well!
This is my favorite time of year! You always give me so much inspiration to get some page layouts done! Love this one!
