31 Pages in 31 Days: Alphabet soup

Hello my fellow scrappin fiends! I mean fRiends! Actually fiends probably works, too! I love scrapbooking (about 22 years now) and I have the feeling if you’re back here for Day Seven of this series, you’re probably a super-fan too.

Enjoy today’s inspiration layout for 31 Pages in 31 Days, and please tell your friends about our annual blog series! I post several pages a month year-round, but in August each year it’s all about the albums.

Psstt…. did you miss the giveaway post yesterday? Check it out here. As of writing this there are still prizes left!

This layout was inspired by a certain paper in the Delightfully Eclectic paper pack that has nothing but letters on it. It’s perfect for punch out words and sayings both for scrapbook pages and cards!

The letters are in alphabetical order rows on the paper, so I started thinking about what would you could do with just strips of alphabet if you didn’t want to punch out individual letters. A school years page is a natural fit.

Proud of myself for making this page completely from scraps except for one sheet for the photo mats. I LOVE using my scraps up! Always makes me feel so thrifty. And bonus–sometimes I come up with color combos I never would have thought of otherwise!

If you love real-life papercrafting, for both cards and scrapping, my Suite Sampler might be a good fit! Every month I put together a box of coordinated goodies based on one of Stampin’ Up’s gorgeous paper packs. I provide inspiration for 10-12 cards and 6-8 pages so you have designs you can copy right off the bat. Read more about Suite Samplers here and maybe give it a try next month!

All right! Thanks for popping by! See you tomorrow for Day Eight.
