31 Pages in 31 Days: a shining light

You know the drill… it’s August, and that means we scrapbook! All month long, guilt-free, because immersion scrapbooking helps us get a ton done and not feel bad about the mess because it’s for a limited time. We’ll put it all away and get on with life soon enough, but for right now, this is OUR time to work on that satisfying stack of pages.

I tackled the biggest print in my Wildly Flowering paper pack today with this two-page cottony-fresh layout. I like the placement of this design, loose and natural looking while still allowing you to get lots of photos in. It also allows for a big variety of photo sizes, even the small Instamax Polaroid-style camera shots, square Instagram-style crops, and horizontal and vertical ones, too. Not many layouts can boast that!

Who would this page have to be about in your life? I hope you are blessed enough to have a friend that “shining light” describes. I can think of several right off the top of my head that I am so lucky to call friends. They encourage and inspire me virtually every day. ( You know who you are!! ) I can’t wait to get my photos on this page.

Don’t miss a day! Subscribe to Lyssa’s blog updates! Then each post will be delivered via email. You can always unsub after the 31 Pages in 31 Days series is over, if you prefer–or stick around for more crafty inspiration!

See you tomorrow for Day 22!
