Just a quick page for your inspiration this fine Saturday! I am gearing up for the first Christmas Club of the season on Monday, so I had to stop and do an about-face to get in the proper mindset to do this teacher-themed back-to-school page. You should see the Christmas bling overflowing in the stamp room this week!

I had one sheet left of the adorable apple-theme Orchard Harvest papers from last year's fall selection, so I was determined to make it stretch. A little creative cutting left me with three pieces, one of which I turned to the pattern on the back for a little complimentary variety. Luckily I had ONE full sheet and some scraps of Lucky Limeade, one of the now-retired In Colors, and a little strip of More Mustard polka-dotted ribbon left after the last Color Refresh. It was just enough!

The paper piercing and faux stitching all over both pages in this spread were tedious, but I like what they brought to the page in terms of a homey, quilted look.I used the Festive Paper Piercing Templates for this one.

I am tickled I got to use the new Spread the Joy stamp set on this journalling space. I figured a sticky peanut-butter sandwich is something most teachers could identify with! Click here to view the rest of the images in this cute limited edition set.

See you back tomorrow for more 31 Pages in 31 Days! OOOH I almost forgot! Congrats to Cheryl Tumbarello, winner of this past week's blog candy! I will bring your In Color cardstock pack to club : ) We'll announce Week Three's blog candy on Monday the 17th as well.

  1. I found some of my old grade school photos in a box. Maybe I should make this my first scrapbook page since I have this paper. I had to giggle I saw that spread the joy stamp but didn’t recognize the peanut butter! I just thought it was a weird splotchy shape. Duh, honestly I am the queen of peanut butter sandwiches at my office! Now, I feel like I gotta get the set just for that stamp!

  2. Isn’t it fun to take one sheet of paper that you love and try to make it into a two page spread? I know that I try to do that all the time with my paper, and I can usually make it happen.
